NBHA National Open Championship (l-r): Garry Malzone, Jillian Stuhr, Brian Petersen, William Smith (judge), Dr. Gene Spiotta, Daniel Bolden (judge), Ken Millikin (owner of runner-up), Tom Waite with Brushville Burton Spencer, Andrea Ward, Karl Forsberg, Don Knight, Chris Mullen with Southern Shadow's Bootlegger, Klaus Schmidt (owner of champion), Ike Todd, Marty Todd, Bill Currie, Julia Currie, and Mechelle Mullen.

The music has come to an end, and the final dance in Dancyville has been completed. This year's judges, Daniel Bolden and William Smith, named Southern Shadow's Bootlegger the 2024 NBHA National Open Champion! "Robert" is owned and handled by Klaus Schmidt and was scouted by Ike Todd. Joining him on the podium is Runner-up Champion Brushville Burton Spencer. "Spencer" is owned by Ken Millikin, was handled by Dale Creek Gundogs professional Tom Waite, and was scouted by Andrea Ward. The NBHA can't thank Bill Currie, Chris Mullen, Ike Todd, Dr. Gene Spiotta, Gene Spiotta, and the ENTIRE West Tennessee Field Trial Club for everything they've done for us each and every year!

Due to unforeseen family responsibilities, the chairperson/reporter for this event was unable to attend.
