March 16-18 marked the final trial of the season at the beautiful grounds of AG Preserve in Glenwood, Georgia. With over 70 dogs entered, it did not disappoint. The weather was a wonderful 70 degrees, and just a little fog delayed the start of the Vidalia Field Trial Club's first event since 2018 when their last trial was held due to some health and family issues. We want to thank all those who came and brought some very competitive dogs to perform some amazing bird work for all to see and enjoy.

Our thanks begin with the Sweet Onion Food truck on-site throughout the trial to provide breakfast, lunch, and one of the tastiest judges' suppers anyone could hope to eat. We continued with a nod to the tractor and dog wagon driver, Ruben Connell. We all know it takes a village, not only the days of the trial but all year long, to prepare and maintain the grounds, yet it is a true labor of love, and we appreciate all involved and who have supported the cause and the club.

We were honored to have Mr. Barry Stumbo, Mr. Jason Armstrong, Mr. Brad Macke, Mr. Ron Lambert, Mr. Lee Avery, and Mr. Drayton Lewis as our judges this year. We certainly appreciated their time and attention to each dog. Good judges are hard to find, and we were blessed to have these at our trial. We hope to see you all again next year.
