The Region 8 Amateur All-Age Championship was held on April 5 at Ingersoll McFarland Ranch Inola, Oklahoma.

With 18 entries, judges Alex Jacocks and Bob Rankin declared Nemaha Tap Water (PM/McInteer) as the winner. He ran in the first brace and did a very good job handling using a lot of country. He had very good spaced-out finds and handled his birds with good manners and style, which was a very nice hour.

Runner-up Haney's Silver Dollar (PM/Cagle) ran in the fourth brace. He ran with style and grace. He handled nicely, had one find at 10, and was hunting the rest of the hour with big moves but always in touch with his handler. A very good hour was pleasing to watch.
