Region 3 Amateur All-Age Championship: Lester's Storm Chaser with Bob Young and Mohawk Mill King Pen with Ellen Winall, joined by participants.

Lester's Storm Chaser was named champion at the Robert Gordon Filed Trial grounds in Hoffman, North Carolina. This strong running Pointer was ably handled by owner John Ivester. Lester ran the hour on course #4 and was credited with three upfront finds, of which one was a divided find. He showed to the front with drive, hunt, and manners.

Mohawk Mill King Pen garnered runner-up for owner/handler Gary Winall. King Pen was credited with three finds. This stylish young Pointer showed consistently to the front, displaying good range and style, with consistency for the hour.

Additionally, to be noted and likely discussed were performances by Rocky River Loaded for owner Grayson Francis and Miller's Last Call for Derek Bonner.

The judging assignment was ably judged and viewed by Matt Basilone, and Ed McCay. They set a good pace. All participants had equal observation throughout the running.
