Beaver Valley Pointer and Setter Club

Backcountry Missy, First in the Open Shooting Dog Stake.

The fall trial at Beaver Valley was held September 4-5 at the club grounds near Rochester, Pa. The trial courses were in excellent condition due to the efforts of Chris Young, Alex Meeder and Mark Hill. Countless hours were spent in the mowing, tilling and planting of the grounds.

Bird planting duties were in the capable hands of Bob Smith. He did his usual yeoman's job of planting the birds. He's been doing this for years and never missed a brace.

Kitchen duties were in the capable hands of Cathlene Smith and Joe Cammisa. Associating with the two is a guaranteed way to put on weight. There offerings were delicious

A special thanks to Justin Mason. He generously provided his side by side for the dog wagon

Our judges for this event were Al Fazenbaker, Chris Catanzarite, Nick Mellon, Karah Thatcher and Dave Park. My sincere thanks to these people who were willing and able to sit in the saddle and judge the dogs.

Finally a huge thank you to the owners and handlers that brought dogs to Beaver Valley. Without you support and cooperation none of this would be possible.
