The Derby Field Trial Club, founded by Terry Merritt, proudly presents the Cedar Valley Open Shooting Dog Classic starting March 25 at the Hoffman Field Trial Grounds.

We're excited to announce that extra funds have been secured to be awarded in addition to the advertised purses!

The bonus money will be awarded as follows:
Best Brace of the Trial
$1,000 ($500 per handler). The brace the judges enjoyed watching the most will be called out and awarded at the placement ceremony.

Dog of the Day
$300 (each day of the Classic). The winner will be named and awarded at the placement ceremony.

Terry Merritt Setter Award
$600 ($400 to the Open Shooting Dog and $200 to the Open Derby). To be awarded at the end of each stake for the best performance of a Setter.
