A Note To Our Readers
The Future of the UKC Field Newsletter
May 1, 2026
When the UKC Field Newsletter was introduced in 2022, its purpose was simple: to provide a consistent, reliable home for the reporting, recognition, and day-to-day pulse of the prestigious American Field pointing dog field trial community.
Month after month, these pages have carried trial results, standings, Hall of Fame honors, and club announcements, serving as both a record of accomplishment and a connection point for participants across North America.
That mission remains as important as ever. But how we deliver that information continues to evolve.
With that in mind, we will be retiring the print edition of the UKC Field Newsletter, with the December 2026 issue serving as our final printed edition. While our delivery is changing, the content you rely on is not going away. Trial reports, results and standings, and a calendar of club event announcements will continue to be published and updated regularly on the American Field website as they always have, ensuring faster access and broader availability for the entire sporting dog community.
We are grateful to the clubs, reporters, and readers who have supported this newsletter and contributed to its pages over the past several years. This publication has played an important role in documenting the work and dedication of field trialers nationwide, and that legacy will continue in its next chapter.
We will share additional details later this year regarding subscription transitions for customers
whose terms extend into 2027.
Thank you for being part of the UKC Field Newsletter and for supporting the American Field legacy.
