The North Missouri Field Trial Association hosted its fall weekend field trial on October 1. The trial was held near Martinstown, Mo. We were only able to have a one-day trial, and in spite of the excessive heat, we had some great performances. The stakes were both open and amateur. We were pleased to see some new faces as well as some familiar faces at our trial.

The weather was hot, and the grounds were in good shape to really show the dogs off. We want to thank all who participated, and a big thank you to Tim Penn, Scott Beeler, Craig Hiatt, Jack Glover, and Kevin Western for sitting in the judges' saddles and giving the dogs their full attention. I also want to thank Gary Cowell and Charlie Beeler for handling the dog wagon duties and keeping things going. The North Missouri Club sure did miss Dr. Jon Niebruegge and Mr. Don Hilliard; no doubt they are running dogs and enjoying the sport in Heaven.
