Hirollins Bad Boy, pointer male named champion; Waybetter Rebel pointer male is runner-up at the 63rd renewal of the Northeastern Open Championship.
Braced together, in the 9th brace which was run on Wednesday October 11th, both dogs put down one of the best performances that I have ever seen. Not much separated the champion from the runner-up!

Hirollins Bad Boy topped a field of 33 tough competitors to annex the title. Owned by Ed and Megan McKay of Wall, N. J., and handled by Matt Basilone, Bad Boy scored four immaculate quail finds and a scorching ground race.

Waybetter Rebel is co-owned by Muriel Primm and Allen Linder and was handled by Mike Tracy. Rebel tallied three picture perfect quail finds, two backs and a ground race that you had to see to believe!!

Judges for the Championship were Kevin Stuart of Schnectady, N. Y., and Chris Catanzarite of Scenery Hill, Pa.
