On May 18 and 19, the Maritime Bird Dog Club held its first spring trial in recent memory. It was a great turnout, with handlers traveling from New Brunswick, Canada, and the U. S. The trial was a success, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. The dogs ran one single course on liberated chukar, which made for lots of good dog work, and the Club looks forward to making this trial an annual event.
