Hosted by the Arcadia Field Trial Club the Region 1 Amateur Walking Shooting Dog Championship was held April 13 at Arcadia Management Area, Exeter, Rhode Island.
Judges were John Olfson of West Hartford, Connecticut and Amilcar Pereira of Waterbury, Connecticut.
With an entry of 10 pointers and 10 setters, the winner was Little Miss Margaret, pointer female owned and handled by Tim Cavanaugh.
Runner-up was Super Storm Liz, setter female, owned and handled by Thor Kain.
