The annual renewal of the Hoffman Amateur Field Trial Club's Amateur All-Age trial was held on December 6-8, 2024, at the J. Robert Gordon Field Trial Grounds. Judges for this trial were Larry Cox of Randleman, North Carolina, and Whitley Stephenson of Smithfield, North Carolina. We thank these two men for their time and effort! The Amateur All-Age drew 22 entries with K H Game Train, a Pointer male owned and handled by Scott Griffin, coming out on top of the competition. Second place was awarded to I Dream of Jeannie, a Setter female owned and handled by Kyle Whitfield. Receiving the nod for third was I'm A Southern Natural, a Setter female owned and handled by Sammy Giddens.

The accompanying Derby drew six entries. Rocky River Reloaded, a Pointer male owned and handled by Grayson Francis, won the Amateur Derby. Second place was Whitehall's Fleetwood Mac, a Setter male owned and handled by Kyle Whitfield. Third place was Marques Trail Boss, a Pointer male owned and handled by John Ivester.

Thanks go to a great group of people who make up the Hoffman Amateur Field Trial Club. Randy Bradshaw for doing our bookkeeping and driving the dog wagon. A special thanks to Chad Adams and Malaya Jester for doing an outstanding job with kitchen duties. The food was delicious! As always, thanks to Debbie Bonner for her Mandarin orange cake! Our meals are what makes coming to this trial so special! Thanks to each handler who supports this trial year after year; we couldn't exist without each of you!
