On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Delaware Valley Bird Dog Club held its second trial. This trial was run on several locations through State Game Lands 280.
Handlers and dogs performed throughout sunny skies with heavy wind and temps from 50-60 degrees.

Throughout the day, one woodcock was moved on six braces. Callbacks were held on planted quail. And 11 of 12 dogs and their handlers competed in their braces until the judges' call of stoppage due to time.

On Sunday, March 9, the Club held its third trial. This trial was also run on several locations through State Game Lands 280.

Handlers and dogs performed throughout sunny skies, light wind, and 40-50 degrees temps.

Throughout the day, seven woodcock were moved on three braces. All dogs and their handlers competed in their braces until the judges' call of stoppage due to time.

We want to thank all those who came and participated in these trials and assisted with the foundation of the trials, course development, traveling from course to course, and participating. Things were kept running very smoothly and we are looking forward to holding these trials again next year.
