All-Japan Open SD ChF25

39th All-Japan Open Shooting Dog Championship (kneeling, l-r): Flair Comanche Chee with Hiroko Sugai (owner/handler) and Mr. Yukichi with Nobumasa Takeishi (handler). (Standing): Mr. Kobayashi, Tatsuo Ishino (chairman), Kengi Shirasu (judge), Yoshiharu Akisada (judge), Mr. Sonoda, Mr. Takada, Mr. Tanno, Mr. Sekioka, Mr. Taguchi, Mr. Tanaka, and Mr. Kikuchi.

This event was held in horrible weather conditions; however, the winning dogs performed well. Unfortunately, the champion and runner-up placements were withheld, and the dogs placed first and second. Flair Comanche Chee, who placed first, is a renowned dog with 10 championship titles. Her handler, Hiroko Sugai, is a hardworking and enthusiastic woman.
Today, Flair Comanche Chee competed in Heat 2. After 25 minutes, she made her first find on the left cover, completing it with style and ease. Forty minutes later, she also made another effort with ease, running forward and making third and fourth finds. However, poor weather prevented her from winning smoothly, and the flow of the competition changed, resulting in her falling short of the champion and coming in first place. Mr. Yukichi, second place, was last year's runner-up champion and is also a veteran dog, with professional trainer and handler Takeishi Nobumasa starting in Heat 1. He found the find after the first 30 minutes and completed it safely and in good style. He then handled it safely around the 40-minute mark and finished in the final race.es: Yoshiharu Akisada and Kengi Shirasu
