The 2022 National Amateur Pheasant Shooting Dog Championship hosted by the English Setter Club of America was held October 21-23 at the Greenwood Wildlife Management Area in Lacey Twp., New Jersey.
The National Amateur Pheasant Shooting Dog Championship with 36 entries was judged by Joseph Luisi of Vernon Hill, Va., and Ashby Morgan. of Hudgins, Va.
Emerging the Champion was Navajo Cody, white and liver pointer male, owned by Camille Masielli and Sal Morelli of White Plains, N. Y., and handled expertly by Joseph E. Lordi of Atco, N. J.
Taking the Runner-up spot was Miller's Unbridled Forever, eight-year-old white and orange pointer male, owned by Great River Kennels and Neil Walker of Central Islip, N. Y., and ably handled by Brian Sanchez.
