The North Missouri Field Trial Club hosted a fall weekend field trial in early October. The trial was held in a new location near Martinstown, Mo. We drew 62 dogs in a loaded field of competitors. The stakes were both open and amateur. We were pleased to see some new faces as well as some familiar faces to our trial. The weather was great, and the grounds were in good shape to really show the dogs off. We want to thank all who participated and a big thank you Tim Penn, Scott Beeler, Craig Hiatt, Jim Giles, and Kevin Western for sitting in the judges' saddles and giving the dogs their full attention. I also want to thank Jim Giles and Charlie Beeler for handling the dog wagon duties and keeping things going.
