Buster Tucker, Tim Hammons, Megan Henry with Pendy's Good Grace, Shannon Pennington,

The Central Kentucky Field Trial Club ran October 21 with 32 entries on the Miller Welch WMA, Berea, Ky. Judges Barry Stumbo of Versaille, Ky., and Ronnie Rogers of New Market, Tenn., provided decisions of the three placements. Appreciation of their attentive observations, long days in the saddle, and willingness to give their time is expressed and valued.

The Amateur All-Age first placement was Dialed In, Jim Pendergest's pointer female. Matt Pendergest handled "Claire" who put down an impressive race having a find at 15 and 59.
Second place in the Amateur All-Age stake was Pendy's Good Grace, owned and handled by Matt Pendergest having a find at 43. Charlie Turner's pointer female Hannah (Blue Eye Dreamer) came in third with a find at 5, another find at 20 having a good run and finish.

Amateur Shooting Dog first place went to pointer male Nickajack Pathfinder owned and handled by Ross Leonard. Nickajack had a find at 18, a back at 32, another find at 55 and ran a good race. Second place Heard Hill's Jaybird pointer male handled by owner Lynn Heard was steady handled easy having a pheasant find at 10 and a very nice good run.
Third was also earned by a Heard Hill's dog. Lynn Heard handled pointer male Heard Hill's Tom Cruizer through a wide ranging forward brace having a quail find at 40 after a relocation handler was able to produce a bird.

Purina provided support with a dog food for the placement winners, hats, and ad payment. The Central Kentucky Field Trial Club thanks Purina for their continued support and generosity.
Sunday morning devotion before the days running was presented by trial entrant Lynn Heard. Lynn read from Tessa Hughes newly published book The miracle Path. Dr. Kristine Hammons sang acapella "This is the Day that the Lord Hath Made." All were blessed by their messages received.

The Central Kentucky Field Trial Club is grateful for all 32 entries, all KFTA member's (Buster, Tim, Charlie) help in putting out birds, driving the dog wagon, Rocky for cleaning stalls and kennels, and making sure the many tasks are complete required to host a field trial.
All meals and snacks were complimentary provided by the Central Kentucky Field Trial Club.
